Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP) won ESG Bond Deal of the Year at the Bonds, Loans & Sukuk Middle East Awards. The award will be presented at the ceremony on 8th June 2022 in Dubai, UAE.
APICORP, the first-ever green bond issued by an energy-focused financial institution in the MENA region, is committed to developing innovative financial solutions for a sustainable future. The bond raised USD 750 million from both regional and global investors, reflecting the strong demand for sustainable investments in the region. The US-denominated five-year benchmark will fund projects aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as renewable energy, green buildings, pollution prevention, and low-carbon technologies.
